60 Years of Storyville Records

In 1952 the late Karl Emil Knudsen started his record company Storyville Records named after the legerndary district in New Orleans. The recordings with Chris Barber, Ken Colyer & Papa Bue’s Viking Jazzband sold very well – some of these became big hits and this really started the company off.
